General Chapter Information:

Welcome to the Needle Arts Guild of Toledo! Our guild is a Chapter of The Embroiderers' Guild of America, Inc., a non-profit educational organization founded in 1959 to

Foster high standards of design, color, and workmanship in embroidery;
Teach the embroidery arts; and
Preserve our national needle arts heritage.

The EGA serves thousands of members through a network of over 300 chapters which are grouped into thirteen geographical regions. Our chapter serves Northwest Ohio and the surrounding area.

Meeting Times and Locations:

Our monthly meeting for June 2010 will be held on June 9 starting at 6:30pm in the Maumee Senior Center, 2430 S. Detroit Ave., Maumee, OH 43537. A map to the Maumee Senior Center is available through the link provided. Other meetings are tentatively set for the second Wednesday of the month but no location has been confirmed. Once the meetings have be set and the location confirmed, information on the website will be updated.

How to Join our Chapter:

Membership in the Needle Arts Guild of Toledo is open to all embroiderers. New and renewing dues payments should be sent to the Membership Chairman. Contact us at NeedleArtsToledo@aol.com for the name and address of the membership chairman if you wish to join.

NAGT annual dues of $43.00 include:

Dues for Local Chapter, Great Lakes Region (GLR), and The Embroiderers' Guild of America, Inc. (EGA)

Bi-monthly NAGT chapter newsletter

Our show is open to the public, and will be on display at the Sanger Branch of the Toledo-Lucas County Public Library, 3030 W. Central Ave., Toledo, OH 43606 on Friday, September 17, 2010 from 10:00am to 5:00pm, and on Saturday, September 18, 2010 from 9:00am to 4:00pm.
