Here is a list of upcoming events and meetings in the Toledo, Ohio area.
- Local Classes
NAGT has the following classes scheduled.
More information on these classes will be posted as it becomes available. Class size
is limited, so please sign up at one of our upcoming meetings, or
send an e-mail to NeedleArtsToledo@aol.com
if you wish to participate.
Saturday, November 10, 2012 - Silk Ribbon Ornaments
- This class by Debbie Mitek will be held at the 577 Foundation in Perrysburg, OH.

- NAGT Monthly Meetings
Our monthly meetings will be held on the second Wednesday of each month
starting at 6:30pm in the Maumee
Senior Center, 2430 S. Detroit Ave., Maumee, OH 43537. A
map to the Maumee Senior Center is available through the link provided.
In 2012, we have a variety of programs planned for our regular meetings.
The programs will be a perfect opportunity to use up some
of your stash, so please bring some appropriate fabric and threads to each meeting.
If you would like to share your stash with your stitching neighbor, please do so!
You will need to provide items such as stretcher bars, hoops, needles and scissors
as well as your standard stitching supplies.
In addition to the regularly scheduled program, we may also be working on a variety of other projects,
such as Correspondance Courses from the EGA. Every quarter, members bring in completed
projects to show for our Get It Finished contest. Each completed project earns a ticket(s) in
a drawing for a prize at our December meeting. Pieces with less than 14 square inches of stitching will earn 1 ticket, pieces 14-75 square inches earn 2 tickets and anything larger than 75 square inches of stitching will earn 3 tickets.

- May 9 - Teneriffe Lace, led by Annette Meyer.
- June 13 - Annual Pot Luck Dinner. Secret Stitchers revealed. Get It Finished entries.
- July 11 - Shadow Work, led by Nancy Wright.
- August 8 - Surprise Bag Results, led by Ann Simmons.
- September 12 - Blocking your Needlework, led by Irene Leonard and Sue Wiemer. Get It Finished entries.
- October 10 - Old Hedebo, led by Cathy Studer.
- November 14 - New Hedebo, led by Caren Scarbrough.
- December 12 - Annual Christmas Party with Ornament and Cookie Exchange. New Officer Installation. Get It Finished entries.
